My name is Nicole and my husbands name is John. We were both born and raised in Southern California.  John spent his professional career as a general contractor working on high end luxury homes.  I spent my professional career as a manager and loan officer working for the top named mortgage companies.  John and I married and with our knowledge and expertise we began buying and selling our own real estate. After doing well for ourselves in the real estate market it gave us the luxury to travel throughout the Caribbean.  We saw the economy in the states going down the drain and began our search for the new booming real estate market.  After traveling throughout Costa Rica and seeing all that it had to offer, we now call her our home. We decided to pack up our personal belongings and move to Costa Rica.  The hardest part was turning our dreams into reality.   Will it be safe? Will we be able to adjust to the cultural changes?  Can we communicate in a primarily Spanish speaking country when we knew little Spanish?  All these questions that are so commonly asked ran through our minds.  We decided to go for it.  We would never know the answers to our questions unless we took that leap and made the move.

We started our relocation search on line, looking to find that perfect property and the right place for us.  After searching many websites and after multiple conversations with other agents in Costa Rica, we found that integrity, customer service, and product knowledge was a huge problem in the real estate market in Costa Rica. We knew more than ever that we were needed in Costa Rica to bring professionalism, customer service, and true assistance to others and their purchasing of real estate in another country.

We worked for a few real estate companies and had to learn the hard way that there are a lot of bad people here that will lie and steal for a simple commission and would say anything to a client to get them to buy.  Everyone wants to make the big bucks, but no one was willing to do any work.  Instead people would steal from us and capitalize on our success. The companies we worked for were trying to get us to push properties that made the company the most money and/or were not the best investment for our clients. Refusing to conduct business that way caused conflict and we soon  knew what we needed to do; open up our own agency so we can run the business they way we wanted to and represent our clients the ethical way.

Costa Rica is a beautiful country and has so much to offer, but just like anywhere there are bad people too. We will guide you through the process and share our knowledge and experience with you.  This way you are informed and can guard yourself against those that are not looking out for your best interest.

We are now living our dream in Costa Rica and have recently been blessed with our first child.  All the questions and worries we originally had are gone now.  We adapted to the cultural differences and now call Costa Rica home.
